CUSTOM TEST BENCHES
Test Bench for Railway signalling Relays
NS1 Relays Verification
Designed and manufactured by LEIC, the NS1 test bench is a comprehensive, automated system intended for the verification, maintenance, and refurbishment of NS1 railway relays, in accordance with standards NF F70-030, NF F70-031, and NF F70-032. It is aimed at railway network operators seeking to ensure the reliability and traceability of their signaling equipment.
Available in two versions – workshop rack and portable bench – the system is suitable for both technical laboratories and field operations. It allows for testing of monostable and bistable relays, from 1 to 6 modules.
With its embedded NS1-Manager software, the user can launch complete test campaigns or individual sequences. The bench automatically performs guided visual inspections, resistance measurements, operating time tests, special tests, bounce analysis, and insulation checks, while also detecting mechanical keying errors. An intuitive color code allows for immediate interpretation of results, and each campaign generates a digitally signed PDF report, ensuring data integrity.
Built with a modular architecture, ergonomic interfaces, centralized data management, and full traceability of tests, the NS1 bench is a proven solution for the sustainable management of railway relays. It is used daily by major French networks, as well as by international operators, to maintain their critical installations in operational condition.

Test Bench for onboard Relays
A technology derives from NS1 expertise
Developed by LEIC, this test bench is specifically designed for the verification, maintenance, and qualification of onboard railway relays. It inherits the robustness and technological reliability of the benches used for ground-based signaling relays and has been specifically adapted to meet the constraints of onboard environments.
Compact, ergonomic, and fully automated, it enables a wide range of electrical measurements: resistance, insulation, continuity, and switching logic — all while ensuring rigorous test traceability. The user is guided by an intuitive interface featuring assisted positioning, mechanical keying detection, and integrated visual checks.
The bench uses the same control software as the NS1 benches: NS1-Manager, a proven and comprehensive tool that centralizes test sequences, manages user access, generates time-stamped and digitally signed PDF reports, and provides structured access to the operation history.
Thanks to its open architecture and adaptability to various onboard relay formats, this bench is a high-performance solution for maintenance workshops, system integrators, or rolling stock operators. It ensures fast, reliable testing in full compliance with the requirements of onboard railway systems.

NS1 Manager
The intelligent core of the test bench
NS1-Manager is the software developed by LEIC to control all functions of the NS1 test bench. Specifically designed for the needs of the railway sector, it enables automated, reliable, and traceable testing of NS1-type signaling relays.
With its intuitive and structured interface, NS1-Manager guides the user through each step of the process: relay identification, positioning assisted by indicator lights, execution of visual and electrical tests, followed by automatic generation of a verification report.
The software can read the mechanical keying code of the relays and supports manual entry or barcode scanning to ensure error-free identification. Each test is thoroughly documented, and results are displayed in real time on screen, with a clear color-coded system indicating measurement compliance.
At the end of each sequence, a timestamped and digitally signed report is generated, stored in a secure database, and exportable in PDF format. NS1-Manager also includes a “History” module, allowing users to search, filter, print, or export all previously conducted tests.
In its advanced version, the software includes a complete relay fleet management environment, featuring:
-
Creation and editing of relay records,
-
Definition of custom test templates,
-
User and access rights management,
-
Centralized, multi-site consultation of test histories.
Robust, precise, and scalable, NS1-Manager is a powerful diagnostic and maintenance tool, fully adapted to the demands of challenging railway environments.
