CALIBRATION OF LEIC EQUIPMENT

Test Bench Calibration
All test benches designed by LEIC are delivered with a calibration certificate, ensuring that measurements comply with the defined technical specifications.
Calibration is performed using the MRE relay (Maintenance – Reference – Calibration), a device developed by LEIC to ensure the metrological reliability of its test benches.
Unlike traditional approaches that require equipment to be returned, the test benches remain on-site: LEIC ships the MRE relay directly to the client. This approach offers several advantages:
-
Increased bench availability for maintenance teams
-
Elimination of risks associated with transport, such as breakage or loss
-
Simple and fast setup, with no extended operational downtime
-
Remote support by the LEIC team to perform calibration securely
The MRE relay itself is calibrated on a metrology table, using high-precision instruments traceable to national standards. It thus forms a rigorous traceability chain, essential to guarantee the accuracy and repeatability of measurements.
Recommendation: An annual calibration is recommended to maintain the metrological performance of the benches and ensure test compliance.
